Duofilm is a brand of medicines used to remove warts. Duofilm contains two active ingredients salicylic acid and lactic acid which when applied directly to warts and verrucas soften the skin and encourage the wart to peel off. Warts affect the top layers of your skin and are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).
A cutaneous solution for the treatment of warts. Suitable from 2 years of age. Children should be treated under the supervision of an adult.
Soak the wart in warm water for 5 minutes prior to application.
Dry gently using a towel that will not be used by anyone else to avoid contamination.
Gently file the wart with an emery board or pumice stone to remove hard skin.
Carefully apply the solution to the wart.
Be careful not to touch the surrounding healthy skin.
Allow to dry thoroughly before covering with a plaster.
Continue treatment until either the wart has cleared completely and normal skin ridge lines can be seen, or the wart has been treated for 12 weeks.

Lactic Acid 15% w/w
Do not use this product if you are allergic or have a hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
This product is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

Flammable;keep away from fire, ensure that the bottle is capped tightly and stored upright.
Store below 25ºC.
Close cap firmly after use.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Do not inhale the vapour.
Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.
Avoid contact with clothing, fabric and plastics as well as jewellery.
Do not use on open skin wounds, moles, birthmarks, warts with hairs growing from them, warts on the face or those near the anal or genital areas, and do not use on warts with red edges or those with an unusual colour.
