Katarek Standard aspirator with a non-twisted chamber, is designed to remove nasal secretions in children from the first day of life. The design of the Katarek Standard aspirator means that after connecting it to a domestic 800 - 1800 W vacuum cleaner, the suction power is reduced providing a gentle, monotonous, and thus effective disposal of the retained secretion,compared to oral aspirators and traditional bulb aspirators. Katarek Standard allows for effective and quick removal of the secretion from the nose of the children, bringing them immediate relief. The whole process of extracting the secretion is completely safe for every child, even from the first day of life. Katarek Standard has two ends that allow it to be used by two children simultaneously.

The 3-Phase method:
1 Dilution: Apply 2-3 drops of saline to each nostril of the child's nose. It's best to do it in a child's lying position so that the solution can get into the retained secretions.
2 Suction: Attach the aspirator to the tube from the vacuum cleaner, set the suction power at the lowest level, and then applying the first and then the second hole of the child's nose, suck the nasal mucus. Remember not to put the aspirator tip in the child's nose, and after aspiration, wash the aspirator according to the instructions provided.
3 Moisturisation:After removing the secretion with an aspirator, moisten the mucosa. For this purpose, re-apply to each of the holes of the child's nose after 2-3 drops of Katarek saline solution. Wipe the excess with a tissue. In children over 1 year, Katarek moisturising ointment is a good replacement for the physiological saline solution. Not only will it moisturise the nasal mucosa, but it will also help to rebuild the bacterial microflora of the nose, thus reducing the duration of infection. In addition, it can also be used on the nasal wings and around the nose to prevent such effects of cold as redness or irritations.
How to use:
Insert the tip marked A into the aspirator chamber (part B).
Insert the conical end of the aspirator (part C) into the suction tube of the switched on vacuum cleaner (800 - 1800W).
Switch off the vacuum cleaner and clean the aspirator as indicated.
