CALPOL®Infant Suspension is a strawberry flavoured oral suspension and is used for the relief of:
Fever (raised temperature)
Post-immunisation fever
Cold &flu symptoms
Teething
Headache
Sore throat
Earache
Other aches &pains
Babies and children from 2 months to 6 years
For the relief of pain and fever
Babies aged 2-3 months:

| 1. Post-vaccination fever | 2.5ml if necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose |
| 2. Other causes of pain and fever - if your baby weighs over 4kg and was born after 37 weeks. | 2.5ml if necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose |
Do not give to babies less than 2 months of age.
Do not give more than 2 doses unless your doctor or nurse has advised otherwise.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Children from 3 months to 6 years:

| 2-4 years | 7.5ml (5ml +2.5ml) |

Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not give any other paracetamol containing products.
Warning - Do not exceed stated dose
Paracetamol
Sucrose (sugar), Sorbitol liquid (E420), glycerol, polysorbate 80, Acesulfame Potassium, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E214), dispersible cellulose, xanthan gum and purified water. The flavouring is strawberry and colouring is carmoisine (E122).
Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
Always read the label before use.
Precautions
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or get worse at any stage.
Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or suffer from allergies.
Storage
Do not store above 25°C.
Store in the original container.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and label after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month
Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children

Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of an overdose, even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage.
