Vitamin D is needed for proper growth and development of bones in children. In addition, it helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and proper functioning of muscles. Vitamin D also helps in the proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, in maintaining the proper level of calcium in the blood, and in the proper functioning of the immune system.
In the period from 6 to 12 months of age, vitamin D supplementation at a dose of 400-600 IU is recommended. daily, depending on the supply of vitamin D in the diet. For children from 1 year of age, vitamin D supplementation at a dose of 600-1000 IU is recommended. daily, depending on body weight, in September-April or throughout the year if effective skin synthesis of vitamin D is not ensured in the summer months.
Infants from 6 months of age and children - 1 twist-off capsule daily.
Refined sunflower oil, MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). Shell ingredients: gelatin, humectant: glycerol.
The daily portion (1 capsule) contains: 15 µg (600 IU, 300% of the reference intake) of vitamin D3.
