Lactase contained in the product decomposes lactose contained in the milk and makes it better absorbed. This way it prevents colic symptoms as lactose may be a causative factor in infant colic. Its efficiency has been confirmed by numerous clinical trials.
Delicol contains lactase, the enzyme that is responsible for breaking down lactose so it becomes more digestible. Lactose intolerance is a fairly common complaint encountered also in newborns and infants, many of them may be the main cause of infantile colic.
Use under medical supervision.
Delicol should be used according to the dosage table below. If the child is naturally fed, use body weight if it is artificially fed - the amount of food consumed. Delicol drops should be administered before each feeding.
Number of drops per meal according to age:
From 0 to 2 weeks (7-8 drops)
From 3 to 4 weeks (8-9 drops)
From 1 to 2 months (9-11 drops)
From 2 to 3 months (11-14 drops)
From 3 to 4 months (12-15 drops)
From 4 months (14-17 drops)
Maltose, water, sucrose, maltodextrin, lactase, sodium chloride
Keep out of reach of children, at room temperature. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.
