femaltiker®plus is a product intended for lactating women, especially in its early stages. The product provides special nutrients that are essential for the proper nourishment of the body of a lactating woman. The barley malt in femaltiker®plus is briefly malted to provide as many nutrients as possible. During the malting process, the bioavailability of proteins and carbohydrates contained in barley malt increases. Short malting causes less degradation of the beta-glucan contained in barley. Only such a special formula and its appropriate technological preparation allow to obtain barley malt with a more digestible and accessible, and thus richer nutritional composition. The formula contained in femaltiker®plus has been additionally enriched with choline and such nutrients as: folates (folic acid and calcium L-methylfolate - FolActiv®), vitamins: B6 and B12, which nourish the woman's body. These ingredients pass into breast milk, affecting its quality and nutritional value for the baby2. The use of a product based on barley malt is mentioned as an example of good dietary practice supporting lactation3. The malt contained in femaltiker®plus barley has been listed in the Breast Suckling Assessment Protocol as a natural remedy. An intervention study involving mothers of premature babies showed a statistically significant increase in milk production (by 1700 ml) during 12 days of using barley malt contained in femaltiker®plus.3 Nutrition of mothers with the formula contained in femaltiker®plus had a positive effect on the daily gain of the child and the amount of milk expressed
Use 1-2 sachets a day with a meal. Your doctor or lactation specialist may recommend a different way to use the product. It is recommended to consume femaltiker®plus 30 minutes to 1 hour before the planned feeding / pumping. The product has a chocolate flavor. Wash your hands before preparing the solution. Use clean utensils. Pour the powder from the sachet into a glass or mug, dissolve it in approx. 150 ml of milk (cold or warm) and mix thoroughly. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved. The way of using the product is adapted to the individual nutritional requirements of a nursing woman: in case of allergy or intolerance to cow's milk, other types of plant drinks can be used, i.e. barley, soybean, rice, oat, spelled or possibly water. The preparation can also be mixed with natural or flavored yoghurt. An additive to be eaten with various types of dishes or meals. It is recommended to start using the preparation from the end of the second day after childbirth, in the absence of milk onset. The minimum duration of use of the preparation is 12 days, however, there are no contraindications for longer use or ad hoc use in the case of the so-called lactation crises. Discontinuation of the preparation depends on obtaining the amount of milk that will ensure the continuation of exclusive breastfeeding. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
