Irigasin junior is a product intended for preparing a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses in children from 4 years of age. It is composed of an irrigator (in the form of a soft bottle ended with an ergonomic applicator) and 12 sachets.
Irigasin junior allows to make both an isotonic and a hypertonic solution, as needed.
An isotonic solution of sodium chloride cleanses the nasal cavities of retained discharge, bacteria, viruses and allergens, as well as cares for the nose and sinuses:
in acute or chronic sinusitis;
in rhinitis during infections or allergies;
before and after surgical procedures involving the nose and sinuses;
after exposure to high concentration of dust in air;
if you want to maintain appropriate hygiene of the nose and sinuses.
An additional benefit of an isotonic solution is that it moisturizes the nasal mucosa, dried as a result of long-term use of nasal medicines or staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.
A hypertonic solution of sodium chloride, in addition to a purifying effect, due to a higher concentration of the active substance also shows osmotic properties and therefore reduces mucous oedema. It is hence recommended in nasal congestion accompanying rhinitis during infections, allergies (hay fever) or sinusitis.

The Irigasin Junior set is a unique medical device.The package contains sachets with powder, from which you can prepare a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.Depending on the number of sachets used, an isotonic or hypertonic solution can be obtained.Isotonic sodium chloride solution helps to cleanse the nasal cavity of the secretion that has accumulated there, it also flushes out allergens, viruses and bacteria.It also allows you to moisturize the mucosa and care for the nose and sinuses.Hypertonic sodium chloride solution has cleansing and osmotic properties that help to reduce mucosal swelling.The set also includes an irrigator, i.e. a bottle with an ergonomic applicator, adapted in size and shape to children's noses.
The nasal and sinus irrigation procedure should be performed 1-2 times a day, unless your doctor tells you otherwise.The treatment should be performed under the supervision of an adult.If symptoms persist, it is recommended to consult a doctor.Preparation of an isotonic solution: pour one sachet into the bottle and pour boiled, cooled water to the line marked as 120 ml.Preparation of a hypertonic solution: pour two sachets into a bottle and pour boiled, cooled water to the line marked as 120 ml.A fresh solution should be prepared for each rinse.After irrigation, the child should not lie down for at least an hour, so it is not recommended to perform the procedure later than an hour before bedtime.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride.Do not use in the case of complete blockage of the nose preventing the escape of the solution from it.Do not use in case of infection or the feeling of ear blockage.
Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride. If the symptoms accompanying rhinitis or sinusitis become worse, consult a doctor. Do not use the product if the nose is fully congested and prevents the solution from coming out. Do not use the product in case of an infection or the feeling of clogged ears. After an ear surgery, consult a doctor before using the product. Once irrigation is complete, a slight discharge of the residual solution from the nose may appear when bending. The product must be used at least one hour before night time. Directly after irrigation, do not allow the child to lie down for one hour in order to not allow the residual solution to get to their ear. Children must not use the product unsupervised by an adult. Consult your doctor to find out if you can use the product in children under 4 years of age.
