Biological role of butyric acid in the intestine
SCFA (short-chain fatty acids) perform many important functions in the human body. First of all, they directly stabilize the structure and ensure the integrity and functionality of the intestinal wall, stimulate the growth of saprophytic bacterial flora, thus inhibiting the development of intestinal pathogens of the species E. coli, Campylobacter and Salmonella. SCFA exert a trophic effect, accelerating healing and intestinal regeneration. Maintaining the integrity of the intestinal barrier is key to the proper functioning of the intestine. Butyric acid significantly affects its maintenance.
For dietary treatment in:
functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract: abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea, constipation, functional dyspepsia
irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
disorders of intestinal flora after antibiotic therapy
diverticular disease of the large intestine
conditions after diagnostic and surgical procedures in the gastrointestinal tract
Adults 2-4 capsules daily (morning and evening). The preparation should be taken for a period of at least 3 months.
Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule once daily for at least 6 weeks, used in the evening.
The capsule should be swallowed whole (do not chew or pour out the contents), washed down with water. Take during a meal.
Sodium butyrate, fillers: calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid and microcrystalline cellulose, capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), fully hydrogenated palm oil, anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids.
