Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. In contrast to saturated fatty acids, the body cannot produce these fatty acids itself. They must therefore be supplied through diet. Möller’s My First Omega-3 Cod Liver Oil is a great source of these essential fatty acids.
Möller’s My First Omega-3 is rich in the essential fatty acids DHA and EPA, which support the development* and maintenance of vision** and brain** function. It’s good for infant health, both before and after birth, as well as an ideal omega-3 source for expectant mothers during pregnancy. DHA fatty acids via the mother contribute to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the foetus and breastfed infant*. While vitamin A and D contribute to a healthy, normally functioning immune system.
Sourced from wild arctic cod from the pristine seas off Lofoten and Vesteraalen in Northern Norway, this product is MSC certified and guaranteed to come from a sustainable fishery. Infants between 4–6 weeks and 6 months of age should start with 2,5 ml per day and increase to 5 ml per day within the first 2–5 months of life. The recommended daily dose for children over six months of age and adults is 5 ml (1 teaspoon).
