The medicinal product Urosept indicated for use as an auxiliary in the treatment of urinary tract infections and urolithiasis. For use in adolescents over 12 years of age and adults.
Keep the product out of reach of children, at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug should not be used in people with edema caused by heart and kidney failure. Use in children under 12 years of age: due to lack of data, the drug should not be used under 12 years of age. Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding: due to the lack of data, it should not be used in pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers. If your symptoms worsen while taking this medicine, you should consult your doctor. The drug contains lactose and sucrose - the possibility of using it in people with intolerance to some sugars should be discussed with your doctor. This medicine contains sodium - less than 1mmol (23mg) sodium per dose, i.e. essentially 'sodium-free'. There are no known interactions with other drugs so far. The drug does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Active substances: thick extract composed of birch leaves, parsley root, bean pericarp (Extractum spisum compositum (4-7: 1) ex: Betulae folio 4.40 parts, Petroselini radice 2.66 parts, Phaseoli pericarpio 1.00 parts ., extractant: methanol 90% [v/v]);bean powdered pericarp (Phaseoli pericarpium);dry extract from lingonberry leaves (Vitis idaeae folia extractum siccum (3-6: 1), extractant: water);chamomile herb dry extract (Chamomillae herbae extractum siccum (7-9: 1), extractant: water);potassium citrate (Kalii citras);sodium citrate (Natrii citras). One coated tablet contains: 86.2 mg of a thick extract composed of birch leaves, parsley root, bean pericarp;78mg bean powder;26mg of lingonberry leaf dry extract;8mg dry extract of chamomile herb;19mg potassium citrate;16mg of sodium citrate and excipients: citric acid monohydrate, sucrose, lactose monohydrate, potato starch, magnesium stearate, talc, spray-dried arabic gum, indigo carmine (E 132), a mixture of white beeswax and carnauba wax (Capol 1295).
It is indicated for auxiliary use in urinary tract infections and in the case of urolithiasis. The medicinal product Urosept is a traditionally used drug with a mild diuretic effect. The effectiveness of the preparation in the listed indications is based only on long-term use and experience.
